Bayonetta is a stylized action-adventure game from developer PlatinumGames that premiered in 2009 with Bayonetta on the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360. While Bayonetta garnered praise from many fans and critics for its fast-paced action and unique setting, drawing inspiration from sources ranging from the Devil May Cry games to Dante’s Divine Comedy, it failed to achieve the commercial success expected by PlatinumGames. Despite lower-than-expected sales, the franchise proved popular enough to receive a sequel in 2014’s Wii U exclusive Bayonetta 2....

Bayonetta Origins: Cereza and the Lost Demon follows a young Cereza before she became Bayonetta as she journeys through a dangerous forest with the help of her doll-possessing demon companion, Cheshire. The title stands in stark contrast to the series’ flashy third-person action gameplay. Bayonetta Origins instead utilizes a fairytale aesthetic, giving players an isometric viewpoint as if looking down into a storybook. The story appears to set up the larger narrative of the series, as Cereza and Cheshire work together to fight enemies on their journey through the forest....

Bayonetta is the longest running series out of all the games developed by Platinum. When Platinum was struggling to find a publisher for the second game in the franchise, Nintendo came to its rescue. From that point onwards, the successful partnership has resulted in long-term sustenance for the series. Hideki Kamiya, the creator of Bayonetta has stated that he has envisioned the series to last for around nine entries in total....

According to WLOS News 13, the hundred-pound bear in Cades Cove had been subsisting on a diet of walnuts from a nearby tree. However, park biologists soon grew concerned when they noticed the bear displaying “food-conditioned behavior,” meaning it would approach humans, cars, and dwellings in hopes of finding food. “We had started to get reports that people were throwing food towards this bear.
