It’s worth noting that none of Bayonetta 3’s side chapters have Umbran Tears, nor does the game’s final chapter, The Single Truth. As a result, there are 39 Umbran Tears for players to collect in total. These are all bound to familiars known as the Midnight Crow, the Shadow Cat, and the Ichor Toad, with players needing to find and catch these creatures to get their hands on the Umbran Tears. As completing Phenomenal Remnants unlocks new weapons, accessories, and, in some cases, Infernal Demons, it’s well worth keeping an eye out for them.
